I understand the unique challenges faced by active duty military personnel, veterans, and their families. The stresses of deployment, combat exposure, and the transition to civilian life can take a toll on mental and emotional well-being, and on our relationships – with ourselves and others.
I’m here to help.
I’ve been working with the military community since 2006, first working with military families after the death of the military member, and then as a facilitator for a nonprofit that ran retreats for veterans with PTSD. I offer a supportive and confidential space where you can address issues such as:
- PTSD and trauma: I specialize in evidence-based treatments for PTSD and other trauma-related disorders.
- Transitioning from active duty: I can assist with the challenges of reintegration into civilian life, including finding employment and managing depression.
- Military family support: I understand the needs of spouses, partners, and children of service members. I offer individual and family therapy to address specific concerns.
Our approach to therapy is:
- Military-culturally competent: I understand the unique language, experiences, and challenges of military life.
- Trauma-informed: I recognize the impact of trauma on mental health and use treatment approaches that prioritize your safety and well-being.
- Collaborative: I work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your specific needs and goals.
Whether you are an active-duty service member, a veteran, or a family member facing challenges, you deserve support. I’m here to help you navigate these experiences and build a more fulfilling life.
